Antikku CafeMy favorite band of all time. I think they've been my favorite as in for about.. six to seven months? It might be possible, I don't remember. Let's start from the beginning...
When I first found out about An Cafe, I found them through some random person's myspace ( she was on my friend's list yet if I attemtped to contact her, she would simpyl ignore me. >[) She had An Cafe all throughout her myspace profile and even had the bass player as a caption for one of her glamour pictures.
Out of all my curiousity, I decided to check out this band that this girl seemed to cherish. (Girl? Hah! She was about eighteen years old, yet still considered young by many terms)
While I was busy roaming google and checking their music video. There was a particular video called "Escapism" that totally caught my eye once the results were finished revealing itself. I shrugged my shoulders and simply clicked the link, hoping that the video won't be shitty or anything like that.
To my surprise, the music quality was wonderful!! I loved the beat and sounds of this band. It was happy and upbeat. I totally fell in love with this band. They weren't the best, but they were extremely loveable, they were in their early and (one was in) their late twenties and it seemed like they still knew how to have fun and live life the fun way.
Despite my infatuation with this band, many others grew irritated by this band. One commented them saying that the lead singer sounded as if he had a cold or something of the sort and that they were terrible. (>[) I was a bit (a bit? I was infuriated!) by their criticism and simply left the forum I was currently residing in.
Though, this didn't discourage me from listening to this cute band, in fact I listened closely to their music and fell deeper in love with their style. It drew me in and made me happy just by listening to them.
Alas, sometimes bands can't stay together, as of May, the guitarist revealed to the public that he wasn't going to play alongside of An Cafe and that he felt as if he was lying to himself and the Caffekos. I didn't understand his thought, but I just stopped listenting to An Cafe altogether and felt that since the guitarist wasn't there, the band wasn't "An Cafe" anymore.
It was... just a band..
Finally, I couldn't hold it in and visited every site I could see, hoping it isn't so and that the Bou was jsut pulling a prank on the public or just a rumour. Sadly, it was the truth and the cutie guitarist was leaving the band for good (or perhaps temporary)
Now, An Cafe has two new members, one of whom was bashed incredibly because of his non-cutie like appearance. It was cruel, yes, but what can fans do to discourage thnew ones to leave and call Bou in back? Well, it wouldn't work, it wouldn't because Bou had to leave, through his own personal reasons.
Now, I'm deep in sadness and currently hoping I could meet them, yet it isn't so. I wouldn't be able to meet them in a long while. Perhaps not in this lifetime, but I hope that I may have a chance to do so.

P.S. They are the only band that reveals the "true" selves to the world. No lies, no facade. It just makes it even more depressing.
